Bert Nummelin - Drums & Percussion

Bert Nummelin is a Swedish-Norwegian drummer and percussionist with roots in the Stockholm music scene. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, he has worked as a freelance musician since 1994, performing and recording across a wide range of genres. His credits include collaborations with Madrugada, Klovner i Kamp and British rapper TY, alongside numerous big bands, musicals and stage productions. He is also a member of the folk trio Messkneft. In Ensemble 2150, he draws on his experience and his interest in rhythm and sound.

Lars Roald Johansen - Guitars

Lars Roald Johansen is a Norwegian guitarist and co-founder of Ensemble 2150. Trained as a classical guitarist at the Norwegian Academy of Music, he has maintained a long-standing engagement with music alongside his work as Municipal Director of Culture and Inclusion. His approach is rooted in collaboration, and in creating space for musicians and ideas to develop. Ensemble 2150 is where he puts that approach into practice.

Bjørn Ronny Hansen - Bass

Bjørn Ronny Hansen discovered the bass at the age of twelve. A year later, he met guitarist Lars Roald Johansen, who introduced him to the music of Rush. That meeting sparked a lifelong friendship and helped shape both his musical taste and distinctive bass playing. Following his musical studies, Bjørn built a diverse freelance career, performing across genres including folk, jazz, funk, fusion and rock. A career highlight came with Unit Five, where he toured extensively as the band’s bassist for six years. In Ensemble 2150, Bjørn draws on his long friendship with Lars and their shared interest in Rush. His experience and melodic bass playing make him a natural part of the project.

Frode Henriksen - Vocal

Frode Henriksen is a Norwegian rock vocalist whose career began with Revenge in his hometown of Mo i Rana in the early 1980s. He later fronted Trondheim bands Bröd & Cirkus, Tindrum and Diezel, and contributed backing vocals to recordings by Stage Dolls, Dag Ingebrigtsen and Stella Getz. After years with Stoneflower in Oslo, Frode returned north and joined the progressive rock band Waterline. More than four decades into his career, Frode continues as the vocalist of Ensemble 2150.
